I'm stuck on this song in my expert career. I would appreciate some tips too. I have the most trouble with the series of green notes with the chords mixed in. I have trouble doing those kind of timed notes. Anyone have any tips on those kind of sections or is it all down to practice?

when you get to the part where it repeats the same thing over and over again, if you have starpower use it right before you fail, and don't try to hit every not, just hte ones you know you can. It sucks, but you can do it.

x2 on what Fyrus said

That's basically the hardest part of the song, so save your star power and really practice those transitions. If it helps, hitting only two of the three repeating notes (one a chord, which you should add more focus to) can get you by well enough.

This song had me stuck for a while also, but you'll get through it eventually.

save star power until you're flashing red.
the part that throws most people off is the g-o-yb.
just use your pointer finger to hit green, pinky to hit orange and your middle and ring to hit the chord. you can keep your hands in that position. and you wont have to move your two other fingers after you hit orange, they're right there.

Only 1 problem with the star power. I cant get it. There's only like 2 or 3 star power phases, and i just cant hit them. Usually only get 1. I tryed doing that "only get 2 of the 3 notes" thing too, not tryin to do too much, but i still havent passed it.

is it the G-O-YB bridge that's getting you?
if so, just play the O-YB notes, and skip the G
you'll figure out the SP sections after playing it a bunch.

I was stuck on that song for freaking ever!

i hate this song too. but its easy once ur hand gets stronger. that repeating part, i leave my pointer near the green button at all times and i just stretch my pinky and ring to get that orange blue chord.

I was stuck on this song for like a month.

Tip: During the Bridges, use star power when you absolutely must. But you must practice it first because the 3 bridges are quite long.

The songs after that dont get much easier. I cant pass any of the songs in Furious Fretwork yet.

The tough part about the star power is that i can only hit the easiest phase. The 1 time I did get 2(star power phases) I got really excited and accidently activated it during the easy part. WHOOPS 0_o.

Ive taken a break from Freya for a couple days. Hopefully I can beat it today.

Why are people getting stuck on THIS song??? Beast and the Harlot is way harder and I don't see any threads on that!

Pandora, Eddie, and Clive for Guitar Hero 3 - Put this in your signature if you agree more characters should have been added, and not taken away

really? i thought she had more of an "icy" look

You'd think it couldn't get any worse by making Judy look like a whore in GH3, but just imagine if she also had Pandora's feathers outfit to go along with it

i am the same. But the first possible star power is the other one to get. If you miss that, keep restarting until you get it. Thats what I did and I am now in Furious Fretwork. Ive taken a break from that, I've been beating all the bonuses in each difficulty.

BatH isn't that hard because you just alt strum as fast as you can, eventually you'd get it

With Freya, unless you have gorilla hands, jumping from G to O to YB, is very difficult to get the ryhthm. And on expert you start missing a bunch of notes during that bridge, you get booed off fast as hell!

Freya is not as hard or bad as you think it is.
1.) Save up star power for any parts you might have trouble with obviously
2.) It's just repetition for the most part, so just nail the phrases, and you're good
3.) You most likely only don't like it because you are mad at it for being hard :P

Yay! Congrats!
And now you have to 5* the mother. :)
I actually just 5*ed just now (250,239 points, 94%) and have 3 tips for you to help you on this future quest:

1. Obviously, successfully hit every opportunity to get all the star powers.
2. During the dreaded G, O, Y+B, it will be a LOT easier to hit if you consciously remember to keep your ring finger down on the Y at all times.
3. In fact, most of the transitions require to keep your ring finger down on the Y button, so again, keep that in the back of your mind!

Good lukc with the rest of the game!!
