from your list i'd say minority, but if it could be any song i'd say something from "1,039 smoothed out slappy hours" just because there's a solo in just about every song.

greendays punk...punk doesnt paly guitar, they put thier fingers on the frets then close thier eyes, cause they already chose what 4 chords they were playing...4 songs ago.

basketcase is good, its one i learned to play real guitar to and its fun to play. Sure theres not a solo that i recall but plenty of changes and enough to keep the fingers busy

Punk is simple and fun to play. Deal with it. We cant all pick up a guitar and bang out Battery by metallica in a day. We all have to start somewhere and like it or not punk rocks. Granted much of it is garbled and hard to understand, poorly recorded, but the blind rebellion, and stubborn refusal to shower is akin to all rock. Punks and metalheads make nice! You all stink equally! Much love to metal though, wish i had the fingers to rip some myself. BTW growling is not a singing style, and rather monotonous so if ur belittling punk for that then ur guilty of similarly lazy arrangement!

Green Day isn't really punk at all (pop-punk, maybe), but that doesn't mean they suck. They do now, American Idiot was horrible, but before Shenanigans they were really good.
I love JAR, but it's really not a song for GH. In fact, they don't have many after Kerplunk. JAR and Longview would be great for Bass Hero though.
Out of those songs, I'd probably say Hitchin' A Ride or Minority, but my choice would have to be Welcome To Paradise, because it has something resembling a guitar solo and has a nice bass track for multiplayer.

flea61, bull, if its your first time picking up the guitar your dont paly punk unless you want to, i started with scales and my first song was Heartbreaker, and punk is only simple and fun to play because the people who write the songs are simple...and they suck, at everything.

sketchman..you suck, i used to listen to whatever came on the radio (Fall out boy green day etc etc) then in 8th grade i found out about metal...and the rest is history, METAL HISTORY, and punkbands arent better than ACDC666 just for having that name hes better than ANY punk band
