This includes the encores of course. Name your favorite and least favorite song in each tier. Remember, just one. I know there's lots of good songs and lots of annoying ones. Still, name just one bad one and one good one for each tier.

1. Opening Licks
Worst: I wanna be sedated (crap vocals and guitar, just like most - if not all - punk songs)
Best: Thunder Kiss '65 (powerful riffs and vocals, close to Rob Zombie's)
2. Axe-Grinders
Worst: Take Me Out (nah)
Best: Iron Man (duh)
3. Thrash and Burn
Worst: Stellar (bleh)
Best: Symphony of Destruction (simple and enjoyable riff, and the solo is nothing short of awesome)
4. Return of the Shred
Worst: Unsung (I'd rather stab my ears with an ice pick)
Best: Ziggy Stardust (not bad)
5. Fret Burners
Worst: No One Knows (it's actually a good song but the least favorite of the tier, tough one, all the songs in it are good)
Best: Crossroads (extra points for coming out when disco was all the rage)
6. Face Melters
Worst: Frankenstein (weird song)
Best: Bark at the Moon (Jake E. Lee ruled. Where is he now? He just disappeared)
Bonus songs:
Worst: Guitar Hero (most of the bonus songs in GH1 were annoying. The name should go to a better song)
Best: Fire It Up (one of the very few good BLS songs, althugh on the other hand I love *everything* Zakk does with Ozzy)

Best: Sharp Dressed Man (cool solos)

Best: Killer Queen (great song)

1. Best: Smoke on the Water (Solosauce)
Worst: I Wanna Be Sedated (Kinda Boring TBH)
2. Best: Sharp Dressed Man (ZZtop defines cool)
Worst: Take Me Out (Fun for a while, but gets boring fast)
3. Best: Killer Queen (It's Queen, people!)
Worst: Hey You (Just don't like this song)
4. Best: Ziggy Stardust (IMO the best cover if you can call it that, it's sort of a re-imagining of the song, amazing!)
Worst: Take it Off (Short and Boring...)
5. Best: Crossroads (The most enjoyable song in the whole series IMO)
Worst: Ace of Spades (This was really close, this teir is amazing. I picked AOS because it's not a very good cover and the solo at the end wasn't charted)
6. Best: Godzilla (Im a big BOC fan, and this song is amazing)
Worst: Frankenstein (Love this song, but it wasn't a good fit for Guitar Hero)

SOTW has a solo (a great one), and IWBS doesn't, easy.

best: Infected (fun to play)
worst: i love rock and roll (too #$%@ing easy)
tier 2:
best: more than a feeling (i love boston)
worst: iron man (so lame)
tier 3:
best: symphony of destruction (should be higher tier but amazing)
worst: stellar (probably incubus's worst song)
tier 4:
best:fat lip/unsung (both fun to play and unsung is a good song shut up haters)
worst: ziggy stardust (lame)
tier 5:
best: higher ground (chili peppers = my favorite band)
worst: spanish castle magic (just because they had so many better hendrix choices)

I agree with you. They sort of messed up the song. The vocals aren't all that good. The end= uber failsauce. I can just imagine how it went:

nope, pretty much all his songs are basic and power chord riffs with random pentatonic scale speed picking for his solos.

Best: I Wanna Be Sedated (My favorite song in the tier)
Worst: Smoke on The Water (It's just not fun to play. The riff just repeats for 4 minutes until the solo and gets really boring. Good song for listening to but a bad song for the game.
Axe Grinders:
